There are tons of things to do in the Pacific Northwest! Here are some of our favorites, or things we haven’t done yet but really want to:

Washington

  • Walla Walla (wineries)
  • Olympic National Park (especially Hoh Rainforest, the Ozette Loop, and Cape Flattery)
  • Orcas Islands and San Juans (including kayaking with orcas)
  • Whidbey Island (especially Langley, Coupeville, the Whidbey Island Distillery, Ebey’s Landing, and Deception Pass)
  • Lummi Island (Willows Inn featured in New York Times article “10 Restaurants Worth a Plane Ride”)
  • Rainier National Park (only 6 miles from the wedding venue!)
  • Bow and Edison, including the eponymous food trail
  • Alaska Marine Highway from Bellingham to Juneau
  • Tillicum Village (good for families with children in grade school to middle school)
  • North Cascades National Park (click here for some photos to pique your interest)
  • Mt. Baker National Park (especially Artist Point)
