Washington

- Olympic National Park (especially Hoh Rainforest, the Ozette Loop, and Cape Flattery)
- Orcas Islands and San Juans (including kayaking with orcas)
- Whidbey Island (especially Langley, Coupeville, the Whidbey Island Distillery, Ebey’s Landing, and Deception Pass)
- Lummi Island (Willows Inn featured in New York Times article “10 Restaurants Worth a Plane Ride”)
- Rainier National Park (only 6 miles from the wedding venue!)
- Bow and Edison, including the eponymous food trail
- Alaska Marine Highway from Bellingham to Juneau
- Tillicum Village (good for families with children in grade school to middle school)
- North Cascades National Park (click here for some photos to pique your interest)
- Mt. Baker National Park (especially Artist Point)

- Cannon Beach and Ecola State Park/driving the Oregon Coast down to Northern California
